Standard & WRAS Tap Connectors
Both the Standard and WRAS approved tap connector range consist of a EPDM rubber liner, with a 304 stainless steel overbraid. The WRAS approved range displays a red fleck liner within the braid to easily recognise that it is to a WRAS standard. These are available in 8, 10 and 13mm bore sizes with lengths starting at 300mm and going up to 900mm. The end connections include the traditional fittings such as female, male and compressions, as well as pushfit connections, available in black or grey plastic or brass. Pushfit connections are a popular choice as they reduce installation time and easy disconnected.
In environments such as hospitals where rubber may not be accepted, Hoses Direct’s PEX tap connectors are WRAS approved with a plastic lining offering the same flexibility as standard tap connectors and are available to buy in a number of sizes, lengths and fittings.

Stainless Steel Overbraid Hose with an EPDM Liner
